"Known for its catfish and barbecue this small home-cooked style restaurant offers a variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches plates and also a senior menu and a kids menu. Great start to the Meal with free appetizer hush puppies. The wait time to get your plate seems a little bit long. I placed your order and it took 16 minutes to get to my table. After further review and eating ribs and brisket, I give this place a solid 7.1 out of 10 the ribs were OK and the brisket were OK. They could've been warmer. The macaroni and cheese was room temperature potato salad was pretty good but for $28 I think you need to provide a little bit better quality food, though wait staff and the ladies working there were marvelous, fantastic family, friendly. I would recommend and I would go back."

"Great little place! Delicious BBQ brisket sandwich! Huge salads! Yummy homemade ranch and BBQ sauce! Friendly servers. Very cute place! Will definitely be back if we are in the area again. It is right off the interstate and quick service, so a perfect stop!"

"On our way back from Memphis to Birmingham, we passed by this spot, decided to stop and grab lunch. I had the brisket Philly cheesesteak and it was incredible. The owner/chef came out and spoke with us, his wife seated and served us, then he came out and told us the story of how the place came about and shared his barbecue competition experience. All in all, great food, great people, great time!"

"The food was delicious as usual, but I don't know what has happened to the service. Usually everyone is super friendly especially when Deborah was there, however the past three times we have been the new servers have been there. There is no hello when you walk in anymore, don't you dare ask about anything on the menu and expect a response other than an eye roll, and definitely don't expect a thank you when checking out. I would expect this maybe if they were super busy not when we are the only customers in the store and this being our experience multiple times now. So do yourself a favor and just call in for pick up"

"Another very nice restaurant to add to my list of favorites as I travel this great nation. The food was great, I had the Baby Back Ribs.. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, they made me feel right at home. Truckers can park across the street at a truck stop, it's very convenient. I will definitely be back."

"As Southern as you can get without getting corny. Cash register perked on some whisky barrels, a dress boutique and a kids play room. Pond raised catfish and bbq pork shoulder, duck and sausage gumbo. Free hush puppies with every meal. And you'll wish you had room for dessert. Enjoy."
